Don't fill the ball. Only use 1 tsp per each 6 - 8 ounce drink. Never put more than 1 1/2 tsp in each Steeper. This will plug the water from steeping the tea and you will waste your good quality tea's. The loose leaf tea's need to have room around them as the tea steeps, the leaves swell alot.
Stainless mesh that has a clip lock on to open the ball to put your tea leaves in. The chain hangs on the side of your mug / cup..to pull out easily when each tea has reached its desired steep.
